For years, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has rested on my bedside table – it has long been one of my favourite books. Since it has spoken to me deeply and inspired me over time, a few illustrations were born from that connection. This work was part of the 6th Tallinn International Illustration Triennial “The Power of the Picture” and has since been travelling around the world.
A. de Saint-Exupéry: “Here is my secret. It is very simple: One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye.”
Created with personal technique, watercolours, ink pen, coloured pencils, and graphite pencils.
