This illustration is part of the exhibition series “The Fox Spirit. The Allure of the Fox”, which began at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre in the spring of 2021 and has since been travelling around the world. Fox spirits are mythological figures in Chinese culture, always surrounded by an aura of mystery – a veil that blends a touch of horror with elements of love, romance, and secrecy. It is an Eastern fantasy world interwoven with traces of realism.

Created with personal technique, watercolours, ink, coloured pencils, and graphite pencils.
